Natural surroundings, recreational areas

Our museum is situated in the Pilis Mountains, on the Duna-Ipoly Natural Park territory . The surroundings of the valley stream and the Sztaravoda fountain have an exceptional naural value. The original fauna lives undisturbed in the fringing forest following the valley’s direction. From early spring to late autumn, visitors can observe protected plants in the area. Our visitors can get familiar with those plants at the our Study Path program.

The meadows and groves of the museum make it possible to have a peasant walk or a peaceful relaxation and enthusiastic play for children. The visitors getting tired during the visit are awaited in the shady recreational areas besides the regional units. At the designated taps, you can find drinking water.
